JIS G3141 Cold Rolled Coil

JIS G3141has been prepared based on the third edtion of ISO 3574 Cold-reduced carbon steel sheet f commercial and drawing qualities published in 1999 with some modifications of the technical contents.

JIS G 3141 is the Japanese material standard. This kind of steel is generally smelted by converter or open hearth furnace. Its main raw material is molten iron plus scrap steel. The sulfur and phosphorus content in the steel is higher than that of high-quality carbon structural steel, generally sulfur ≤ 0.050% and phosphorus ≤ 0.045%. The content of other alloy elements brought into the steel from raw materials, such as chromium, nickel and copper, generally does not exceed 0.30%.
